Alvis UK Trip

Alvis is in UK~~~

‘London is the place for me
London this lovely city
You can go to France or America, India, Asia or Australia,
But you must come back to London city……’

(Theme song of Paddington, 2014 by D Lime feat Tobago Crusoe)

I have been to some western countries such as France, Switzerland, and Australia, but I always long to travel to the United Kingdom. For me, UK is a symbol/ representation of the glamorous European world which we often germane it to “classy”, “elegant” and “Noble”. I imagined people wearing scarf and mac while rambling the glamorous street, enjoying the scrumptious scones and aromatouse scent of coffee diffusing in the air. This is how I want to spend my afternoon~~

In 2018, I got the chance to visit this magical kingdom. I have visited London, Salisbury, Glasgow, and Scotland. Nevertheless, it is a pain in my neck as I did not pay a visit to the Loch Ness. What a shame! All thumbs up for the pork’s burger, fish and chips and the scone. I really need to suggest u people to try out the fish and chips at Glasgow, it is so crispy and juicy in which I think they add in beer when they fried the fish. Yummy~~

To my surprise, I spend lots of thinking, ruminating and reflecting myself, my relationship with family members and my future goal. When I am lying on the grass, watching the country road and enjoying the beautiful sunset, I am overwhelmed by the feeling that some people spend their lifetime also may not get the chance to visit a country like this, but I had luckily. So what must I gain from this trip? What should I do in order to pay back my parents?

Besides that, I always wanted to study master in UK because I really like their accent and their richness in the linguistic and clinical resources. Thus, I kinda spend lot of time in surveying and searching online about it. After spending a long evening lying on the grass at Yorkshire, I realized that different country have different culture and lifestyle. The beautiful scenary also made all my trouble seems so small, like worrying the future carrier, relationship with others. In fact, life is too short, and we should not spending our whole life participating the cold and cruel rat race. In addition, we can never choose where we born, but we can choose what kind of person we want to be. Notwithstanding how handsome or how ugly you are born with, you should always embrace and cherished what has been bestowed upon you by constantly improving urself in all different aspect of life. I want to share with u guys my favourite line given by Shah Rukh Khan in Ted Talk, 2017:

‘You can use your power to build walls, keeping people outside, or you can use them to break the barriers and welcome them in’
